YouTube Live (unlisted)

This webinar will begin with short presentations from our panellists, followed by an open Q&A where attendees can put their own questions to the panel.

Our speakers will draw on their lived experiences as international applicants to UK Maths PhDs, covering topics such as the visa and funding process, what surprised them about applying to and starting a PhD in the UK, and how they navigated cultural and administrative differences once they arrived. This session is aimed at prospective international students seeking practical, first-hand guidance on applying for a Maths PhD in the UK and adjusting to life after arriving.
