  2. 2026

    Now

    PhDYourWay + EDIHub+ = ResearchYourWay

We’ve been using 2026 to scale-up the PhDYourWay initiative in three directions: Breadth, Depth, and Height. We want to support micro-communities within the mathematics UK landscape, provide general PhD information to those outside of mathematics, and start to build resources for what could come next after your PhD journey. To read more about the scale-up head to the ResearchYourWay page.

  3. 2023 –25

Building off the success of the first year, we ran annual online events, combining a traditional webinar information event with a ‘virtual PhD Fair’ where PhD students from across the UK were present to answer any questions that attendees might have. Over the years we were sponsored by LMS, IMA, SAMBa CDT and the AGQ CDT.

  4. 2022

In 2022, PhD students Patrick Nairne and Kat Phillips noticed the potential for an outreach event for mathematics PhDs that is collaborative between universities, as opposed to different institutions running their separate events.
